If you are coming from the A55, to Bangor, then take the road to Caernarvon. Then from here take the Pwllheli road, turning left on the Portmadog road. Go through Bryncir, and as you pass through Bryncir, turn right to Criccieth.
Make your way to the castle, then drive downhill (past the Marine Hotel which will be on your right), about 50 yards, and park in the car park on your left beside the viewing point where there is a planted up boat and picnic seats.
