  • Another season is almost over. To those of you who have returned to "Ardro", it was lovely to see you again.Thank you for choosing to spend your family holiday in Criccieth. The rates for 2012 will be as follows:- Peak rate = £1,040 /wk (2nd-9th June, 21st July-25th August,) Mid season rate = £790/wk (31st March-14th April) Off Peak rate=£630 /wk
  • We do accept most dogs, but it is at our discretion, so we would ask details of your pets breed and if it is well behaved. A charge of £35 /wk would be made. We do have two large dog beds which you are welcome to have use of. Please note that there are areas of the beach that the Council does not allow dogs onto during summer weeks, but we can direct you to alternative good places to walk.
  • "Ardro" is well equipped for young families with children and babies. There are stairgates, travel cot, bath seat, potty, child's bed and cot side, baby monitor, toy cupboard, soft toys in the beds, plastic tableware, bibs, and cutlery.
  • Criccieth is a special place, and the beach is remarkable also. The rock pools have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of the marine life there,- star fish, sea anemones, lobsters, and a host of otherwonderful creatures. Many guests this summer have seen pods of dolphins passing by.
  • If you plan to go up Snowdon during your visit, and hope use the train, please remember to book early, to avoid a long wait. Also ,if you choose to walk up and want to get the train back, remember that preference is always given to those with return tickets, so you cannot always be sure of having the ride back! Finally, if you take your dog up to the summit, be warned, as dogs are not allowed into the cafe there.
