A hideaway for just 2 people, that offers comfort and seclusion. The Coach House is a unique two storey welsh stone and yellow brick property, built in the 1850’s when The Maenan Abbey Hotel (2 minutes. walk away) was a gentleman’s residence. This building was the original coach house for that residence. The Coach House is situated on a 100 yard cul-de-sac private road with only three other houses, one of which is occupied by the owners. There is ample parking space. Two gardens with lawns are found on the east and west sides of the house. The patio area in the west facing garden is particularly private and safe for dogs. There is a newly refurbished kitchen, very large partially oak panelled lounge with TV, and downstairs w/c. Upstairs you will find a large super-king bedroom and spacious bathroom with full size bath, shower, wash basin, and w/c. There are beamed ceilings in the dining room, lounge, and landing, which give a “cottagey” feel.

There is further accommodation up a separate staircase off the hall/dining room, but access to this area will not be available or accessible this season.

The Coach House is situated deep in the Conwy Valley, 10 miles inland from the North Wales Coast, and all its attractions. It is only 20 minutes drive to Snowdonia and 6 miles to the popular beauty spot of Betws-Y-Coed. Woodland, lake and riverside walks are all within 5-15 minutes drive. The Maenan Abbey Hotel (nearby) offers restaurant or bar meals and has a public bar.

The Coach House will be open all the year round, except for Christmas. Change over day is Sunday (for 7 night stays).
Peak rate will be £490 per week, for the following periods: 1st - 15th April (Easter), 3rd - 10th June (B/H & Jubilee), and 22nd July - 26th August.
Off Peak rate will be £350 per week.

We do accept short break bookings during Off Peak periods only.
3 nights = £240 and for each extra night requested, a charge of £30 will be made.

We charge £5 per night for dogs, but pets are accepted at the owners discretion. On learning that a guest wishes to make a booking, we email a booking form that we ask is returned together with a deposit of 20% of the total cost of the holiday. This secures the booking. A balance invoice is sent out approx 5 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Receipts are sent out for all payments. There are no other additional costs.
